St. Tropez's Vilebrequin Makes a Big Splash

Remember the days when "Point Break" and "Baywatch" determined the accepted sexy style of men's swimwear? Well, we think those days are over.

We all know the Hoff never goes out of style.
Even when he's crying and eating a cheeseburger at the same time. Tough life.

Looking good on the beach is a lot more than just washboard abs and a golden tan. Even though they'll probably be the only thing you're wearing, swim trunk style is important. We at MyDROBE think you should be wearing Vilebrequin.

Okay, maybe it's still about washboard abs.

The St. Tropez French swimwear brand has been around since 1971. They specialize in making colorfully printed swim trunks that stand somewhere in between the short european style and the american board short.

The price tag can be a little hefty, but honestly, can you put a price on good style? I think not. Some of our favorite celebrities and trendsetters can be seen sporting these colorful little beauties, like Leonardo Dicaprio, Andrea Casiraghi, Jack Nicholson, and even Prince Harry.

Cool look. Now lose the dog.

The best thing about these shorts is that you can tailor them around your individual style. Looking for something simple and elegant? Check. Bright and extroverted? Check.

The brand has opened up stores away from its native France, most recently opening one in Montreal. The hype is spreading, get on it Drobers. Check out some of their trunks right here.

With Style,
Your MyDROBE Team
