MyDROBE's a Hit at Wendy Walk Charity Event

MyDROBE was absolutely honored to be involved in the second annual Wendy Walk cocktail night, a charity event that raises money for Liposarcoma research. Once we had been invited to run the raffle event, MyDROBE gave one lucky winner an array of MyDROBE goodies, a wardrobe tool map of Manhattan with marked "War Free Zones," a discounted purchase from Campbell Fine Jewelry, and most importantly, an opportunity to upload the winner's entire wardrobe to our online platform! Jealous, #Drobers?!

Pictured above are Ali Landes (right) and her best friend Becca Wenner (left). In 2010, Wendy's three children, Ali (pictured above), Matt and Jackie, created the Wendy Walk to support their mom in her battle with Liposarcoma. Wendy was diagnosed with Liposarcoma in 2008 and has since failed seven chemotherapy protocols and undergone four major surgeries lasting over twelve hours each. Many of Wendy's organs have been removed, and her strength has been tested, but she continues to be an inspiration to others with her determination and perseverance.

Bummed that you missed out on being a part of this incredible event? Never fear, Drobers. The Wendy Walk's biggest event takes place on April 28th in Central Park.
